Hike & seek anyone 👀 Every time I paddle in the early morning it feels like I’m walking on water because the water is so still, calm, and looking like glass that it requires no effort to paddle my way across the lake! Can I get a HOORAY but also a teeny tiny NAY ☀️ Don’t get me wrong I’ve tried to fully embrace rain but there’s a point where it’s become too much for too long. The pure joy that I have because the weather is starting to feel like summer, snow is finally starting to melt from the mountains, and hiking+camping can begin shortly BUT the only downside for me is that the bugs are back and seem more fierce (or at least towards me)!! I got bitten a few times from yesterday’s hike in the weirdest spots (for example the corner of my nose, like how?!). Anyways, are you all feeling the change of season and are just as excited as I am? When you feel like royalty walking through @vandusengarden 🌸 Instead of writing a long caption about this experience, I thought each individual photo deserves their own little caption of what’s happening in the photo. Finding simplicity 👀 Some things I spotted from the top of the @malahatskywalk where I used my zoom lens as ‘binoculars’ in hopes I could find some wildlife but instead I found some different types of boats, so I snapped a few with my ‘binoculars’. Which one is your favourite? Gliding on silk ⛵️ Imagine gliding on silky smooth waters but also floating through fluffy clouds while sailing?! This is exactly how I feel this image is portraying it’s story and even though the clouds are a reflection it sure does give that illusion that you’re on the water and in the clouds! So little sailboat on the sea, I wonder where you may be going? And on that note, Happy World Oceans Day! When the weather is starting to look up ☀️ It’s been a little busy at work this week with new workflows being implemented but hope you are enjoying your week!! It falls with power while releasing soothing sounds for our souls 💦 On our way back from Salt Spring Island we stopped at this waterfall only a few minutes from the car pullout. The rain was pouring down but I knew that there would be a chance the falls would be raging down - and yes it was indeed raging! There was just so much green and vibrance in this little spot making it probably the most lush and tropical like waterfall I’ve been to! Here’s a few maybe slightly blurry photos I snapped before my camera and myself got too wet (unfortunately it’s not weather proof). See ya, off to roll in the mud 🍩🌧 This past weekend I had the opportunity to take @fordcanada's Maverick out on a little getaway to Salt Spring Island! A collection of mountains from a late summer sunrise hike - won’t be long now (hopefully)🤞 I'd like to think the rain is just confetti from the sky 🌧 With the constant rain we have coming for us I thought I'd share a few of my favourite ways to enjoy the outdoors until hiking + camping season starts.
